 A true southerner through-and through. 

Many describe her as "the embodiment of poise and grace " ~

Born and raised along the coast of SC, her roots are dug in deep and firmly planted!

Symanthia's goal is to exemplify the warmth and wholesomeness of the southern hospitality spirit, in everything she does including with each

Blossoms and Blankets picnic and special event experience.​

At our table, we want your smiles to be endless, and your laughs to be contagious. 

Leave happy, but always come back wanting for more!

Symanthia lives happily married to her husband, Jeff, her soul mate, best friend and greatest supporter of nearly 40 years.

They share 2 beautiful daughters together who have made their hearts very proud, and just recently gained a new "son in love", who they both agree, that they could not have hand-picked any better of a guy for their oldest daughter.​

Meet Jeff ~ he is the partner of Blossoms and Blankets and a backbone and muscles to the company. A number one supporter of helping her build upon her dreams.

A true Southern gentleman, and who earned his bachelor's degree from USC in Political Science.  (Go Gamecocks!)

Jeff brings 50 years of Management, Customer Service, Retail, Retail Buyer and Marketing experience to the table.

​During their down time, it is of no surprise to find them in shorts and T's, with bare-feet or flip flops, by the beach or pool, listening to Jimmy Buffet tunes. 

Nothing could make them any happier, than to be barefoot with toes in the sand.

The both live by the motto, 

"Sandy toes and Salty Kisses".​

​

Milkshakes are a favorite treat of Jeff's, and Symanthia enjoys a special treat of a Chocolate covered strawberry ice cream cone, anytime!

Symanthia and her husband Jeff,

and their family, continues to build their life along the coast of SC, where they were born and raised.

Education~ and then 40 years

How it all began ~

Symanthia began her studies in June 1983, through “Weddings Beautiful”, right after her high school graduation, and where she earned her certification upon completion, under the Direction and Founder, Doris Nixon.

Under completion and certifications with "Weddings Beautiful", Symanthia was recognized in several Bridal Magazines known worldwide, like Bride Guide and Bride's Magazine, as an outreach Certified Wedding Specialist and Events Planner, to Bride's all over the world.

Experience followed by working in one of her first jobs, working in a Bridal Boutique.

Since then, she has helped guide and direct many Brides' plan and coordinate their dream wedding, while keeping within their budget.

​

Symanthia continued working with Brides but developed interest in making a career in the banking industry and worked 15 years in the industry where she climbed to management pretty quickly.  Having a background in the banking industry, provided Symanthia with the knowledge and skills required to run successful businesses.

​

Shortly After working with Bride's, Symanthia decided to expand her studies in Etiquette, where she furthered her education, and earned her certifications as a Children’s and Teens Etiquette Specialist, in 1996 she gained additional training, and experience through Linda Dyer, founder of “Pretty Me”, “Finishing Touches”, and Boys at their Best”, based on the Virginia Metropolitan area. ​

She taught boys and girls etiquette courses through - hands on workshops and held fashion shows through major department stores.

Her students were among a variety of residents across Horry County, which also included children of politicians, lawyers and Senators from across the midlands.

​

Symanthia chose to write her own etiquette teaching material and opened up her first etiquette workshop under ~

“The Manners in Me” ~

which she taught in public schools through an after school recreational program.

After a few years in teaching this program, she decided to branch out within the community, offering additional workshops to other young children and teens, through her second program “Southern Graces Etiquette ".  

She taught hundreds of children and teens the basics of etiquette, which also helped get them ready for college and into the workforce.

​

Symanthia also earned certifications in 1983, and 1984, within the Interior Design industry, where styling homes and Special events was among her newfound love. ​

She went on to say, ~her passion in decorating creating vignettes, and table scaping, has been instilled within, for a very long time, as early as in my childhood, as a little girl who loved to play with pretty tea-sets.

 

In addition to Symanthia's list of credential's ~

She is an Ordained Minister-where she finds it a true honor, and in being included in a very special part of uniting couples in a legal binding relationship!

She incorporates this honor in helping couples with elopements and combining luxury picnics as part of the special occasion.

​​

Among all of her trades, she retired from working behind the chair, as a cosmetologist and business owner of 20 years, and where Today, she now has found new, exciting opportunities with a BIG twist ~ that really allows her to express and "show off", what she loves to do the most ~ ​

Symanthia is among the very first to offer.

Luxury Styled picnics along the Grand Strand, and surrounding areas of Horry & Georgetown Counties, SC~​​

"I have always had a flair for decorating spaces and making them look beautiful to my eye.

That passion, combined with my love for the outdoors, led me to create Blossoms and Blankets Luxury Styled Picnics.

With my exceptional decorating talents, I create intricate setups that are perfect for a day of relaxation, fun and luxury.

Each setup is tailored to the client's individual needs and preferences.

Seeing others gather together, encircled with family and friends, brings such joy and light, and it is such an honor to be a part of those special occasions!

~​To now, being able to include Luxury Picnic styling to my service board, where I can use my talent and creativity, makes me beyond excited!

After this initial inquiry form is submitted, and has been returned to us for review, we will contact you by the number or email that you have provided to us,

to confirm any special requests and to discuss the perfect picnic location for your event. All of these details will allow us to prepare your luxury picnic cost estimate. 

Our pricing will depend on the number of guests as well as the theme, location and with any customization options that you select.

Please start the “Pricing /Inquiry Request” process by submitting the form in our Logistics menu.

* Because of Scams ~ We have made a company decision to not respond to Picnic Request through Email, (or any other avenue), without a Completed and Returned Inquiry Form First, although We are happy to speak to you over an initial phone call.

*This decision is to help avoid any concentrations from valid inquiries, such as with spam/scam emails, or text, and to work with our time and devotion directly to our serious client inquiries only. We will not entertain to scam correspondences.

*We prefer to speak with our clients to have a personal level with one-on-one conversations.

*At that time, we will be happy to communicate with you as needed, through text, a call, or email.

*If your picnic is with or through a company affair, we will need to know the company name, the responsible party, and a contact number.


*  You are welcome to browse our photos for ideas and inspiration, and where we will create a beautiful lux picnic, just for you and your guest.

We build and create our own styles, using our professional expertise and experience. Styles may vary and no 2 picnics may be exactly alike, as we aim to make each table just as unique as you are !

Our decor is used in many ways to capture the best table and surrounding picnic area, and where some minor changes may occur as we see deemed necessary.

Please keep in mind, we are a locally owned small business, but our offerings are continually expanding.  If you have seen a detail/item/style or color scheme on our social media that you have a preference for, let us know when you book.


* When you are ready to book, we suggest at least 4-6 weeks in advance for booking a Lux Picnic with us.  If you are planning for a micro special event or occasion, we encourage you to offer a minimum of 6 weeks in advance to help allow more sufficient time in planning.

* However, we do always encourage you to check with us for availability, as we may have just what you are looking for~ right when you need it !

*With our planning and preparations, we go straight to work for you; therefore,  we require a 50% non refundable retainer's fee to secure your date/time to our calendar. 

I prefer payment via Venmo, but credit cards are also accepted. 

When I email the Cost Estimate, we will wait for your approval, once that is confirmed, you will be provided with Payment Option details.

You have 3 days to confirm your estimate before expiration. We will not hold estimates out any longer, and your requested date is not guaranteed without your retainer's fee.

Please note that all events must be paid in full at least 14 days before the event.

 

* No Dates, are guaranteed, booked, or secured to our calendar without a Non-refundable Retainer's fee, your signed contract and returned to our company.

*We have many inquiries and bookings in a day, please book as soon as possible for the date you desire the most.

* We have a NO REFUND ~ ALL SALES ARE FINAL Policy.

*Once we have your Pre Booking Form and have established communication with you, we will  send to you a complete listing of our Terms & Conditions, and Welcome Packet.

*Our complete listing of our Terms & Conditions are reserved for consultation review, once we receive your Intake application.

*Once your picnic has been approved and booked, we will begin the next steps to building your Luxury Picnic.
