Simply put ~ From the heart and one's passion.

 

Throughout my Lux Picnics ~ You may spot a few Honeybees and have read about my 

Milk & Honey Brand, and that actually includes Honeybees ~ but our Honeybees are harmless.

With anything that I do with my talents and creativity ~ 

I give back to the one who first gave to me..

Service to others~ 

As in part of my company, it was laid on my heart to become A Collaborative Director ~

In supporting and helping other small businesses in our area, and that are complimentary to ours.

I help blend together, all that we have to offer as into one.

It takes a team, A colony, ~and everyone has a working part.

 

Honey and honeybees are used as images to convey God's blessings, His abundance, His love, strength, wisdom, things of great worth and even references to Christ. 

 

I have now felt over the last few years a strong connection that my work was related to Milk & Honey. The Bees

 

So it is said...

“The bee is more honored than other animals not because she labors, but because she labors for others.”​

Within the super-organism that is a honeybee colony, where each member plays a vital role in helping to sustain its fellow members, whether that be foraging for food, feeding the young, building honeycomb to store honey, or helping to regulate the temperature of the hive or nest. 

Thus, the work involved, needs the whole colony who thrives and is sustained.

The bee feeds itself and other bees from that which comes from flowers, (hence Blossoms)
When away from a colony, a bee spends its productive time among the flowers, gathering sweet nectar, so that what it takes back to the colony, is nectar from flowers which is turned into honey.

​

If it took back anything that was not good ( poison), it would ultimately be harmful for the individual bees and for the rest of the colony.

 

In the comparisons of honey with spiritual wisdom, I feel this is perhaps a metaphor representing what we ourselves digest (into our minds and hearts), how we spend our time, and in how we spend time with our loved ones ~Do we feed our families with what is spiritually loving and good, or do we take back the equivalent of poison?

Honey as blessing, abundance

Honey appears to be in God's provision of abundance, and the giving of something sweet and good to eat. 

We desire for all good things and express those ways through ~Luxury Picnics~ to help bring out the good among all, to spend more time with our loved one's  ~

We bring honey to our table ~Where milk & honey flow,  All because of the bees ~
